How to fix an outdated product price or image in your store search
The Products page in the AlFinder dashboard lists every product synced from your store, with the total at the top and a search by name or SKU. If a product looks out of date in search, such as an old price, click Refresh on its row and it is pulled again from your store.

What the products page shows
Under All synced products, the page lists every product search knows about, with the total count at the top. Each row shows the product picture, its SKUs and the price search currently has for it.
This is what your shoppers see in search results. If a row matches your store, the product is correct in search too. The same list also appears in short as Store products on the Home page, with a Show all products link.
Why a product can look out of date
Your store sends product changes to AlFinder automatically, so you normally don't need to do anything when you edit a price, a name or an image. Once in a while a single change may not come through, and a shopper sees an old price or picture in search.
Refresh fixes that one product without waiting for a full sync. AlFinder pulls the product again from your store, and search shows the update shortly after.
When to use it
- A shopper tells you the price in search differs from the product page.
- You changed a product image or name and search still shows the old one.
- You want to confirm a new product reached search before promoting it.
- A product seems missing from search: look it up here to see whether it has been synced.
Good to know
Each product can be refreshed once a minute. If you click again too soon, you'll see a message asking you to wait. If a full sync of your store is already running, the product is refreshed as part of it.
How to set it up
- 1In the dashboard, open Products.
- 2Type the product name or SKU in the Search by name or SKU box.
- 3Compare the picture, SKUs and price on its row with your store.
- 4If anything is out of date, click Refresh on that row.
- 5Wait a short while, then search for the product in your store to confirm the update.
Common questions
Do I need to refresh products every time I edit them?
No. Your store sends changes over automatically. Refresh is only for the occasional product that still looks out of date in search.
How long does a refresh take to show in search?
Shortly. The product is pulled again from your store as soon as you click, and search shows the new details soon after.
Why does it ask me to wait before refreshing again?
Each product can be refreshed once a minute. Wait a minute and try again if you still need to.
It says a full sync is running. What does that mean?
Your whole catalog is being synced at the moment, and the product will be refreshed as part of it. There is no need to click again.
