A search that gets smarter every day

Self-learning, voice and image search

A good store search does more than match the words a shopper types. It learns which products your shoppers actually pick, lets them search the way that suits them, and gives you control when you want it. These three guides cover self-learning search, voice and image search, and the advanced settings behind them.

Why a search that improves matters for sales

Shoppers who search already know what they want, so they are among your most likely buyers. When the first results miss, many of them leave instead of scrolling. Every improvement in what shows up first, and in how easily a shopper can start a search, keeps more of these buyers in your store.

Arabic makes this harder. The same product is searched with different words and spellings, such as جوال, موبايل and هاتف, or عباية and عبايه, and many shoppers mix Arabic and English in one search. A search that forgives small mistakes, understands meaning and learns from real behaviour handles this far better than plain word matching.

How the three features fit together

Self-learning works in the background: it watches what shoppers click and add to cart after each search and moves the products they prefer up for that search. Voice and image search change how a search starts, so shoppers who would rather speak, or who only have a photo, can still find what they want. Advanced search settings decide how strictly words are matched and how much weight meaning gets.

A sensible order to set them up

You don't have to do everything at once. Start with what needs no effort, then add control only where you see a need.

  • Self-learning search: nothing to set up. It starts learning as shoppers search and updates every day.
  • Voice search: turn it on and match its colors to your theme. Image search comes with the Professional plan.
  • Advanced search settings: leave them as they are unless you notice misspellings bringing up the wrong products or results that feel too loose or too strict.
